An efficient and smart IoT based pisciculture for developing countries
Abstract
Pisciculture has not yet been plenarily explored as a strategy to minimize penuriousness levels despite its potential to amend livelihoods in rural communities. Low productivity, high farm-level losses, prohibitive establishment costs and poor monitoring are the problems in the current fish farming system. To overcome this, we have proposed an IoT based embedded system for automatic monitoring and control of fish farming. Our system consists of different sensors that measure essential quality factors of water like PH level, temperature, hardness, turbidity and water level as well as an arduino board that processes the data and sends control to the relay. By using this setup, the entire process of fish farming can be automated and it will also be easier to monitor the fish farming remotely from other location.
