Calculation of Theoretical Line Loss for Rural Low-Voltage Distribution Networks under Unbalanced Three-Phase Loads based on Time Segment
Abstract
The three-phase load unbalance degree of rural low voltage distribution network is very serious due to various reasons. In theoretical line loss calculation a specific types of the unbalanced loads in a representative day is usually given according to the specific situation and a coefficient is introduced into the theoretical line loss calculation. However, the type of unbalanced loads is not a constant in a representative day,it changes with time. So,in the paper,we proposed a new calculation method of theoretical line loss for rural low-voltage distribution networks in which the influence of the unbalanced three-phase loads on the loss is considered by time segment. It is compared with a traditional computer method and some meaningful conclusions are presented in it.
