Abstract
The paper shows the calculation of load-carrying capacity of pile foundations of the contact network supports of railroads when installing them in the earth bed of sandy soils. The application of pile foundations for fixing the contact network pylons in the sandy soil bed is proposed. Initial data for determining the bearing capacity of the foundation, were taken from the data of engineering-geological reports of the object “Electrification of the Bukhara-Urgench-Khiva railway line”.
