Abstract

Abstract Two aspects of the properties of organic compounds in molecular clusters are considered. The first involves the reactions of nitrogen-containing organics that have high proton affinities with tropospheric cluster ions and the recognition and identification of pyridine and its homologues as atmospheric species. The second aspect concerns characterization of the environment of organic molecules by resonance-enhanced multiphoton ionization.
