Hybrid installations in pumping stations based on the use of renewable energy sources

Abstract

Full-scale studies suggest combined installations based on the use of renewable energy sources, which provide the use of new ecological and energy-conservation technologies for irrigation pumping stations. The criteria of efficiency value of several sources, i.e., solar and wind energy, combined with the hydraulic energy of watercourses are defined.
