Conceptual Essence of Allusion in the Fictional Text

Abstract
The article deals with the investigation of cognitive essence of allusion regarded as a stylistic device representing different types of knowledge structures in the fictional text. The article presents the analysis of different language means that express allusion in the text: anthroponym, phraseological unit, toponym and citation. It is distinguished that any of these language units being used in fictional text represent a whole layer of knowledge structures of religious and mythological character, thus contributing to revealing conceptual senses put on the basis of analyzed texts.
