Improving the Method of Sending Information about the Approach of Trains to Railway Crossings
Abstract
The railway crossing is designed as the intersection of the railway and highways to some extent. The design model is selected based on the requirements of the rules of technical use of the intersection of the road, ensuring safety at the intersection of the road and the length of the time of approaching the train at the intersection and the approaching point. On the basis of the methodology proposed in the article, the areas of approaching trains to railway caches were calculated using mathematical expressions. In this article, the principles of the operation of the automatic signaling system of road crossings for road intersections on different sections, the sending of information about the approach of trains to railway intersections with the help of wireless communication are modeled on the basis of the requirements of the rules of technical use with the help of Petri net mathematics. Here, the areas of approaching road intersections for trains of different categories are calculated based on the dynamic indicators of the trains.
