ELLIPTIC SOLUTIONS OF THE NONLINEAR SCHRÖDINGER EQUATION AND THE MODIFIED KORTEWEG-DE VRIES EQUATION

Abstract

Two Ansatze concerning Krichever curves are considered for solutions elliptic in x of the nonlinear Schrodinger equation and the Korteweg-de Vries equation. An example is given of a new two-gap elliptic solution of the nonlinear Schrodinger equation.Bibliography: 33 titles.
