Abstract

Abstract Similarities And Differences Between Denmark And Sweden Most comparative work on national systems supporting technical change has focused on the differences between the United States and Japan. Such comparisons may be very useful as first approximations; they demonstrate, lucidly, how differences in national economic structures and institutional setups are reflected in differences in the rate and direction of technical change. In this chapter Sweden and Denmark, i.e., countries that are much more similar, are compared.
