Abstract

We have obtained systems of equations of the Burgers and the Hopf types from the system of non-stationary equations of the two-velocity hydrodynamics. Account must be taken of the fact that the energy dissipation occurs due to the viscosities of subsystems and the coefficient of inter-component friction. For a Hopf-type model, the analysis of the system of differential equations reduces in the form of traveling waves to solving a system of nonlinear ordinary differential equations. The effect of the kinetic coefficients on the propagation of nonlinear waves is clarified.
