Abstract

This study has examined the role of information and communication technology (ICT) and Silk Road infrastructure for tourism development of China. The investigation also explored the tourism-led economic growth hypothesis for the nation of China. The findings of the examination specified that the emergence of ICT has a positive effect on tourism development in China. Moreover, the infrastructure also plays a vital role in the development of international tourism in China. The current investigation analysed the tourism-led growth hypothesis and found that tourist arrivals have a significant share in the economic growth of China. The study revealed that the adoption of ICT magnifies the tourism development that led to economic growth. .
