Abstract
Sena augustasi sp. n. belonging to the S. cardinally Tams, 1931-group is described from southern Oman (locus typicus: West of Salalah, Al Mughsayl env.). The new species is distinctly distinguished from all hitherto known species of the genus, however it has some external similarity with S. cardinally Tams, 1931 or S. donaldsoni Holland & Smith 1901. The male holotype of the described species is deposited in the Museum Witt, Munich.
