Abstract
This article analyzes the status of the issue of rational use of fuel and energy resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Currently, the share of renewable energy sources in the fuel and energy balance of the country does not exceed one percent. At the same time, the potential of renewable energy sources of Uzbekistan is about 51 billion tons of oil equivalent, the technical potential of more - 179 00.0 million tons of oil equivalent.
