Abstract
In article number 2010746, Jianzhong Shao, Yadong Yin, and co-workers report an efficient strategy to produce large-scale photonic crystal films on flexible substrates for structural coloration by shear-induced assembly of pre-crystallized liquid colloidal crystals. This strategy can produce thin films with brilliant structural color patterns over a meter in size within minutes, holding great potential to revolutionize the coloration technology in the textile industry.
