Beta-delayed deuteron emission of<sup>6</sup>He in a potential model

Abstract

^e beta decay towards a + d scattering states is investigated in a two-centre potential model. The branching ratio for beta-delayed deuteron mission is found equal to 2.0 X 10"'*. This resuit strongly overestimates the exprimental value (2.8 0.5) x 10'*. It supports the existence of a neutron halo in *He.
