Abstract

Abstract The pressure effect on the phase diagrams of the GeSn and SiSn systems is studied using the previous electronic theory based on pseudopotentials and considering the α–β phase transition under pressure. The calculated results predict the appearance of the α‐phase solid solution for the GeSn system under pressure. The obtained curves near the melting point under pressure are shown for the GeSn and SiSn systems.
