Abstract

The dynamic form factor and the spectrum of the momentum-density fluctuations of the two-dimensional classical electron liquids are obtained by numerical experiments in the domain of intermediate and strong coupling $2.29\ensuremath{\le}\ensuremath{\Gamma}=\frac{{(\ensuremath{\pi}n)}^{\frac{1}{2}}{e}^{2}}{T}\ensuremath{\le}70.9$, $n,e$, and $T$ being the area number density, the electronic charge, and the temperature, respectively, with the Boltzmann constant taken to be unity. The dispersion relation of the plasma oscillation is determined and it is shown that the shear mode exists for $\ensuremath{\Gamma}\ensuremath{\gtrsim}50$.
