High-frequency conductivity of electrons on a helium surface

Abstract

We have calculated, within the mean-field theory, the density and frequency dependence of the electron-ripplon conductivity for electrons on helium. The numerical results suggest that such measurements will probe the short-range properties of this strongly interacting system.
