Producing calcium nitrate and rare-earth element concentrates by phosphogypsum conversion

Abstract

Experimental researches of the dissolution of calcium carbonate obtained as a result of phosphogypsum conversion by ammonium or sodium carbonate and nitric acid with obtaining a concentrate of rare-earth elements and other liquid products have been performed. The structure of phosphochalk and the outlet half-product is presented. The substantiation of recycling expediency of phosphogypsum waste – phosphoric acid and phosphoric fertilizers has been carried out. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.5755/j01.ct.64.2.6024
