Abstract

Innovation clusters are critical for industrial and economic development in Latin America. They are groups of firms, research centres and investors which work together in close physical proximity to create new technologies, products and enterprises. They work on invisible networks of relationships in complex social settings where collective industrial activity is based on knowledge and learning.
