Abstract
Routing protocols govern data communication in MANET, which strictly, should be in consummate accord with the movement of the nodes in dynamic topology of the configuration. In this study, we propose Modified Mobility Factor that is premeditated based upon keeping track of movement, hold time and speed of entity. MMF provides the platform to anticipate the duration for which two nodes will remain in communicable range of each other, hence plummeting the problem of link rupture.
