On a generalization of the first initial-boundary value problem for the heat conduction equation

Abstract

In this paper a generalization of the initial-boundary value problem for the heat conduction equation is investigated. k-th order derivative of unknown function is given as the initial condition. The existence of a regular solution of this problem and its uniqueness are proved.
