Abstract
The formation of eddy currents in the p–n junction in a microwave field is investigated. It is shown that the eddy currents decrease the thermopower of hot carriers in the diode. The formula, which takes into account the sample sizes in calculating the currents in a p–n junction in the microwave field, is derived.
