Abstract

Recent, technological progress in the wide area measurement and control system (WAMACS) focuses control for enhancement the power system stability. The WAMACS determine by appropriate controllability, the capability of adjustable capacity and have substantial excellence in damping regional network oscillations over power system with communication different property and flexible alternating current transmission systems (FACTS). This work designs a multi-output damping controller (MOC) to damping the regional network oscillations compensating for the delay. The MOC is based on the close-loop optimization control H-infinity due to its immutability robustness versus input load frequency variations. The proposed controller uses synchronization controllability generator and FACTS device, The results under various disturbance cases in the system test IEEE 30-bus illustrate the role of regional communication network oscillation damper controller (RCN-ODC) in improving power quality.
