Abstract

Electrical conduction in a polyblend of poly (methyl methacrylate) and poly (vinyl acetate) is studied as a function of voltage and temperature with three different electrodes: aluminum, copper, and silver. The results show that the Schottky–Richardson emission is dominant in the present case. The values of Schottky field-lowering constant β, the effective metal-insulator potential barrier, and the activation energy involved in the conduction are reported.
