Abstract
Abstract The seed oil of Calendula officinalis l. contains a monohydroxy acid amounting to some 5% of its component acids. This acid has been isolated and shown to be D‐(+)‐9‐hydroxy‐10,12‐octadecadienoic acid, probably 10‐ trans ,12‐ cis .
