Abstract

Wheat (Triticum durum L.) is one of the most important cereals world-wide and it is grown in different environments. Drought is one of the major constraints which hamper wheat production in India. The central zone of India (Madhaya Pradesh, Kota region of Rajasthan and Jhansi region of Uttar Pradesh) were characterised for water stress ecosystem.
