Abstract

Nonlinear bijective mappings give many interesting families of discrete-time dynamical systems. This short note proposes a special orientation-changing mechanism for orbits of nonlinear plane mappings (in fact, these mappings have a probabilistic origin and can be interpreted as simplified models in genetics; however, such an interpretation is not discussed in the paper).
