Abstract
An unprecedented dinuclear heteroleptic CdII complex was isolated using a stable multidentate 2,4,6-tris(2-pyrimidyl)-1,3,5-triazine (TPymT) ligand, which can be seen as a triply fused terpyridine ligand. In the obtained complex, TPymT retains its structural integrity without undergoing oft-observed hydrolysis.
