GEOMETRY OF THE STATE SPACE OF MODULAR JORDAN ALGEBRAS

Abstract

In the class of compact convex sets the normal state spaces of modular Jordan algebras are characterized. To wit,the state spaces are precisely those sets that are modular, spectral, and symmetric.
