Abstract

Despite its title this book is essentially concerned with a discussion of the observational data on binary systems with only a small, but welcome, chapter on multiple systems. Included are useful discussions concerning the determination of the apsidal constant, the presence of circumstellar matter and the evolution of binary systems.
