Abstract The fatty acid percentage‐wise composition of Sisymbrium irio and Camelina sativa as determined by GLC, containing 22.0% and 23.0% oil respectively, is C 14:0 (0.7, 0.5), C 16:0 (15.8, 9.0), C 18:0 (3.5, 2.8), C 18:1 (17.2, 20.7), C 18:2 (15.6, 22.9), C 18:3 (37.1, 34.3), C 20:0 (0.0, 2.0), C 20:1 (0.0, 7.8) and C 22:1 (10.1, 0.0).
