Abstract
Abstract Electrochemical glycosylation of thioglycoside donors proceeds efficiently in an undivided cell in the presence of a catalytic amount of the chemical mediator (4‐bromophenyl) ammoniumyl hexachloroantimonate (BAHA). In comparison with electrochemical glycosylation alone, the use of a catalytic amount of BAHA greatly increases the rate of reaction, reduces the potential required and inhibits ester‐protecting group migrations.
