Abstract
Antrochoanal polyps were detected in 35.4% of cases among patients suffering from nasal polyposis, referred for surgical treatment. In 13.8% of cases, antrochoanal polyps were diagnosed inthe late, III stage of their development, and defined as giant polyps. At the stages of diagnostics and surgical treatment of polyposis rhinosinusitis, it is advisable to use endoscopic techniques, which contributes to a radical removal of polyps, correction of altered anatomical structures of the nasalcavity and prevention of relapses.
