Synovial Cysts in Rheumatoid Disease

Abstract

Para-articular and extra-articular cystic swellings arising from bursae, tendon sheaths, and joints in rheumatoid disease were examined by contrast radiography. The complications that may follow these lesions are discussed. The relationship that occult popliteal cysts may have to discomfort behind the knee is noted.
