Existence of nontrivial steady states for populations structured with respect to space and a continuous trait

Abstract

We prove the existence of nontrivial steady states to reaction-diffusion equations with a continuous parameter appearing in selection/mutation/competition/migration modelsfor populations, which are structured both with respect to space and a continuous trait.
