Abstract

Abstract Over the course of the past five decades, South Korea has experienced a remarkably successful transformation to a rapidly modernized country in the areas of economy, politics and social welfare. Today, South Korea has become one of the countries from which many other developing countries wish to draw lessons as a case study in successful modernization.
