MOBILE APPLICATIONS FOR SELF-STUDY IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE LEARNING
Abstract
This article examines the role of mobile applications in supporting self-study in foreign language learning. With the rapid development of digital technologies, mobile-assisted language learning has become an effective and flexible approach for learners. Mobile applications allow learners to practice vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, listening, and speaking skills independently regardless of time and place. The study highlights the advantages of mobile applications, including learner autonomy, personalized learning, interactivity, and increased motivation. At the same time, challenges such as limited feedback and learner discipline are discussed. The findings suggest that mobile applications can significantly enhance self-directed foreign language learning when used systematically and purposefully.
