Abstract
This article discusses the theoretical foundations, relevance, and practical significance of implementing STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) education, which is considered a new pedagogical approach in general secondary schools. The role of STEAM education in developing students’ creative, critical, and logical thinking, as well as the opportunities for improving the quality of education through interdisciplinary integration, is scientifically analyzed. In addition, the mechanisms for implementing STEAM education and its importance in the modern education system are substantiated.
