WAY TO INCREASE THE COMPETITIVENESS OF INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISES IN THE DIGITAL ECONOMY
Abstract
This paper examines strategic and operational pathways for enhancing the competitiveness of industrial enterprises within the rapidly expanding digital economy. By combining theoretical frameworks with empirical observations, the study articulates a multi-dimensional model of competitiveness that incorporates digital transformation, automation, data-driven management, supply-chain digitalization, and human capital development. The research draws on national examples—Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine (AMMC), Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combine (NMMC), and UzAuto Motors—to illustrate applied practices in Uzbekistan. Policy recommendations and a practical roadmap for firms and policymakers are proposed. The article uses analytical-methodical approaches, statistical review, and SWOT analysis to develop actionable conclusions.
