Abstract
This article examines the representation of child exploitation in world literature as a reflection of social injustice and moral responsibility across historical and cultural contexts. Focusing primarily on Victorian literature, especially the works of Charles Dickens, the study analyzes how industrialization, poverty, and institutional neglect shaped literary portrayals of exploited children. It further explores the evolution of childhood as a social concept and the ethical challenges of depicting vulnerable subjects in fiction.
