CURRENT STATE OF REGIONAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF KARAKALPAKSTAN AND WAYS TO ACCELERATE IT

Abstract

This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the current state of regional economic development of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, structural changes in its sectoral composition, and the efficiency of using regional economic potential. In the course of the research, statistical and comparative analysis methods were applied to study the indicators of industrial production, agriculture, and investment activity. The main factors constraining regional economic development were identified, and scientific and practical recommendations aimed at accelerating sustainable regional growth were proposed.
