Abstract
This article discusses the content of patriotic education, its impact on the spiritual development of the younger generation, and issues of harmonization with national traditions and universal values, the role of national values in patriotic education, as well as the importance of educating a person based on universal principles, and the need to educate a person with an active civic position.
