EDUCATIONAL METHODS BASED ON AN INTERDISCIPLINARY APPROACH IN UNDERSTANDING CHARACTER PSYCHOLOGY IN LITERARY TEXT ANALYSIS
Abstract
This article examines educational methods based on an interdisciplinary approach to understanding the psychology of characters in literary texts. It explores the integration of literary studies, psychology, and pedagogy aimed at developing students’ skills in comprehending artistic psychology, analyzing characters’ inner worlds, and interpreting their actions. The article also discusses the effectiveness of the interdisciplinary approach in the educational process and practical pedagogical techniques that facilitate a deeper understanding of literary works. This article examines an interdisciplinary approach to understanding character psychology through Abdulla Qodiriy’s novel “O‘tgan kunlar” (“Past Days”). It explores the integration of literary studies and psychology aimed at developing students’ skills in analyzing artistic psychology, comprehending characters’ inner worlds, and interpreting their actions. The article also highlights how the fates of central and supporting characters – Otabek, Kumush, and others – reflect the life of different social strata, interpersonal relationships, and the enlightenment ideas of the era.
