Abstract
The results of the analysis of the development of designs of machines and tools for strip tillage and the studies performed in this area allow us to put forward a working hypothesis that high quality strip tillage with minimal energy consumption can be ensured by improving the working bodies of existing machines and tools, taking into account the real conditions of their work and physical and mechanical properties of the soil. From the review it follows that the quality and energy intensity of strip tillage depends on the type and parameters of the working bodies of the implement, the speed of the unit, as well as on the type and physical and mechanical properties of the soil.
