Abstract

Stroke in childhood is a serious neurological condition that can lead to long-term motor, cognitive, and functional impairments. Effective rehabilitation is essential to improve recovery outcomes and quality of life in pediatric stroke patients. In recent years, virtual reality (VR) has emerged as an innovative rehabilitation tool that enhances patient engagement and promotes neuroplasticity. This article examines the effectiveness of virtual reality in the rehabilitation of children who have experienced stroke. The study highlights the advantages of VR-based rehabilitation, including improved motor function, increased motivation, and enhanced functional recovery, and discusses its potential integration into pediatric neurorehabilitation programs.
