Abstract
Thisarticleaddressesthedevelopmentofstudents'communicativecompetenceinthecontextofmodernhighereducation.TheauthoremphasizestheimportanceofAlisherNavoi'sliterarylegacyasapowerfultoolforfosteringspiritualandmoralattitudesandcommunicationskillsinyoungpeople.Thetheoreticalfoundationsoftheterm"communicativecompetence"areoutlined,itsconstituentelementsandpedagogicalfactorsinitsdevelopmentareidentified.Thehumanisticandsocio-culturalresourcesofNavoi'sworksareexplored,demonstratingtheirimportanceindevelopingstudents'verbal,speech,anddiscursiveskills.ParticularemphasisisplacedonthepracticalexperienceofusingNavoi'swritingsintheeducationalprocess:conductingcasestudies,debates,projectwork,andresearchtasks.ThearticlepresentstheresultsofresearchdemonstratingtheeffectivenessofNavoi'sworksindevelopingcommunicativecompetenceandoutlinesthepossibilitiesoftheirapplicationinthecontextofdigitaleducationandinterculturalcommunication
