Abstract
Thetypesofadditivesusedintheproductionofhigh-pressurepolyethylenepipes,theirfunctionsandimpactonthequalityofthepipearewidelycovered.Theimportanceofantioxidants,ultravioletstabilizers,carbonblackandtechnologicaladditivesinimprovingthephysical,mechanical,thermalandoperationalpropertiesofpolyethylenepipesisanalyzed.ThecorrectselectionanduseofadditivesintheproductionofHDPE,PE80andPE100polyethylenepipesisbasedonthefactthatitallowstheproductionofhigh-quality,long-lastingpipes.
