Abstract

Chronic infectious diseases remain one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality worldwide. These include tuberculosis, HIV infection, viral hepatitis B and C, chronic respiratory infections, and other conditions that require long-term monitoring and continuous therapeutic control. Early detection of complications and remote patient monitoring have enabled telemedicine to open new opportunities for prevention and disease management. This article examines modern approaches to the use of telemedicine technologies in the public health system, their practical significance for Uzbekistan, and future development prospects.
