Abstract

Self-confidence plays a pivotal role in second language acquisition, influencing learners’ ability to actively participate and excel in English learning contexts. This article investigates effective strategies for enhancing self-confidence among English language learners, emphasizing learner-centered approaches, psychological interventions, and supportive learning environments. Key strategies include integrating communicative activities, leveraging technology, promoting positive reinforcement, and addressing language anxiety. By fostering self-confidence, educators can significantly improve learners’ motivation, engagement, and overall proficiency in English.
